Biography

Dr. Wyszynski received his Ph.D. from the ÈÕº«¹ú²úav¸£Àû of Michigan (1996) and a BA in Spanish from The ÈÕº«¹ú²úav¸£Àû of Akron (1990).

Dr. Wyszynski taught at the ÈÕº«¹ú²úav¸£Àû of Texas at Arlington before joining the ÈÕº«¹ú²úav¸£Àû of Akron faculty in July, 1998. He specializes in Spanish Golden Age literature, and in particular Cervantes. He is the Series Editor for and was a founding co-editor of the .

In April 2001 Dr. Wyszynski was the recipient of the Chairs’ Award for Notable Achievement in Early Career. In 2009 he was the recipient of the UA Institute of Teaching and Learning Outstanding Teacher-Scholar award, as well as the Ohio Magazine Excellence in Education Award.  His profile can be found on
