Biography
Dr. Anindya Bijoy Das is a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department. Prior to joining the 日韩国产av福利 of Akron, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Purdue 日韩国产av福利. His research interests include federated learning, AI/ML and its applications, coded/distributed computation, information theory, biomedical signal processing, etc. He has published several peer-reviewed journals in IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications, IEEE Signal Processing Magazine, IEEE Wireless Communications Letter, etc. He has also served as a reviewer in different venues including TON, TMC, TPDS, TPAMI, TWC, ISIT, ICASSP, etc. He received the prestigious "Karas Award" from Iowa State 日韩国产av福利 for an outstanding dissertation in Mathematical and Physical Science and Engineering in 2022.
